Intensive Therapeutics

Teen Series

About Teen Series

Teen Series is a group led by an occupational therapist and speech language pathologist to address social skills and life skills for teens (ages 13+). Topics will be addressed in 6-week modules in hopes to carry out these newly learned skills into the community.  The Teen Series program helps promote resilience by equipping adolescents with practical social and life skills needed to navigate increased independence and community participation. By addressing real-world challenges in a structured group setting, teens build self-confidence, emotional awareness, and coping strategies that support long-term mental health.

Our child-first, expert services utilize established practices to focus on:

  • Autism
  • Hemiplegia
  • Everyday Kids (School, Sensory, and the In-Between)

And we do it all so that each child can reach their fullest potential!

Why Teen Series?

At Intensive Therapeutics, we value a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach. We offer sessions incorporating both occupational and speech therapy. This allows us to look at your child as a whole within the context of various settings.

Additionally, we welcome information from all members of your child’s team, including parents/caregivers, other therapists, teachers, doctors, and other medical professionals, in order to maximize the therapeutic experience.
