What is Say & Play?
Say & Play is run by an occupational therapist AND a speech-language pathologist who collaborate to address individual goals within the context of a group. Children ages 1-3 and 4-6 years old will develop expressive, receptive, and pragmatic (social) language while participating in play-based activities. Say & Play addresses gross motor, fine motor, self-help (dressing, eating, etc.) skills as well as sensory processing abilities.
We foster early emotional development and resilience by supporting children’s ability to communicate their needs, regulate their emotions, and engage meaningfully with others. Through play-based, interdisciplinary intervention, children build confidence and social connections that are foundational for long-term mental health and well-being.

A Collaborative Approach
At Intensive Therapeutics, we value a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach. We offer sessions incorporating both occupational and speech therapy. This allows us to look at your child as a whole within the context of various settings.
Additionally, we welcome information from all members of your child’s team, including parents/caregivers, other therapists, teachers, doctors, and other medical professionals, in order to maximize the therapeutic experience.
