Our Beginning

Scott Matthews, MS, OT, saw a gap in the therapy world for intensive, client-centered, occupation-based services. He envisioned a place where all children received therapy services regardless of their socioeconomic status—it would be a place without sterile walls, white coats, and beeping machines…it would be a place kids would want to go to for therapy.

In 2005, Intensive Therapeutics, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization was born. Scott would go on to develop all groups and services based on parent and caregiver recommendations and needs. Now, with a team of expert, compassionate staff, Intensive Therapeutics helps each child reach their fullest potential.
