Payments
Are you in-network with my insurance?
No. We are not in-network providers for any insurance company. However, we do provide the necessary paperwork to families so they can submit to their insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please note that Intensive Therapeutics does not guarantee reimbursement from your insurance, as your family’s insurance plan may vary from others.
How can I pay my invoice?
You can pay your QuickBooks invoice in any of the following ways:
- Using the invoice sent via email – click the “Review and pay” button, and you can pay by credit or debit card or by bank transfer. QuickBooks accepts all major credit cards as well as Apple Pay.
- Cash or check written out to Intensive Therapeutics – this can be mailed or given to your child’s therapist.
- PayPal – visit our Make a Payment page and follow the instructions to complete and submit the payment form.
Will I be able to save or print a copy of my invoice?
Yes. A PDF file of your itemized invoice should be attached to your QuickBooks email. If not, click the “Review and pay” button, then click “View invoice” where you will be able to download and print it as needed.
Is there an Auto-Pay option?
Yes. If you elect to opt in to our Auto-Pay, this means that at the time invoicing is completed each month, the payment method you provide will be used to pay your invoice. When payment is processed, you will receive a QuickBooks email with “$0.00” due. To view that month’s amount, please click the “Review and pay” button. Your invoice amount may vary month-to-month depending on the number of sessions your child attends.
Group Programs
What is the minimum number of children to run a group?
We typically require there to be at least 3 children enrolled in the group for it to run.
How do I know what group my child will be placed in?
We want as much information as necessary to determine the appropriate group for your child. We can conduct an interview over the phone, you can send us current therapy reports, MD notes, school reports and/or we can complete a comprehensive evaluation. It is important to determine what your child’s needs and goals are so we are all on the same page when we begin therapy.
What if I don’t see a program that fits my child’s needs?
Please let us know what you are looking for. Most of our programs have originated from the ideas of parents.
What if my child isn’t the right age for your program?
Please call us to discuss further. Age parameters for groups can be adjusted accordingly. Also, if your child is older/younger than our proposed group, we can discuss creating a new group specifically for child’s age.
How long are the group sessions vs. individual sessions?
Typically group sessions run for 1 ½ hours to 2 hours, 1-2 times per week. Our individual sessions are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour, 1-2 times per week. Our summer group programs typically range from 3 to 6 hours per day. Most importantly, our therapy sessions are based on how much your child NEEDS, based on the goals that we set.
Individual Services
What individual therapy services do you offer?
Our qualified therapists conduct evaluations and provide services for occupational therapy as well as speech & language therapy. Please visit our Individual Therapy Services page for more information.
How do I register online for individual services?
Unlike group programs, individual services are built into each therapist’s caseload based on availability. Therefore, online registration is not offered. Please contact us to inquire about availability.
