Winter Soccer Group
Intensive Therapeutics is proud to continue its collaboration with the Scotch Plains Fanwood Soccer Association (SPFSA) for an indoor soccer program.
Our sports and Recreation programs have been partially funded by a grant received by the Borough of Fanwood, NJ from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. The Recreational Opportunities for Individuals with Disabilities (ROID) grant helps to bring innovative, community-based recreational programs to children with special needs. The support of Mayor Mahr and the Borough of Fanwood has helped us create a model of programming that can be replicated in other municipalities throughout NJ.
The soccer program is offered to the following age groups:
- 4 to 6 years old
- 7 to 10 years old
- 11 years and older
Open to all families from surrounding areas. Occupational therapists familiar with sensory-motor issues, coordination problems and social/behavioral issues will structure the program in conjunction with soccer coaches and players from the SPFSA.
All sessions will be held indoors at the St. Bartholomew School Gymnasium
