The Montclair Food & Wine Festival, Inc. was established in 2011 by of a group of volunteers, chefs, restaurateurs, and food and wine industry professionals to promote education, awareness, and appreciation of the culinary arts in Montclair, New Jersey, and surrounding areas. The Festival brings together a diverse group of chefs, foodies and farmers, wine-makers and wine connoisseurs, brewers and beer buffs, bakers and bloggers, artisans and epicures, producers of craft spirits, and members of the food, spirits, and wine trades. MFWF events feature seminars and symposia, cooking demonstrations, tastings, receptions, and a gala dinner. It attracts hundreds of people from Montclair, its neighboring communities, and throughout the greater New York City metropolitan area.
